One Touch Save
|
Keepoint allows you to save the actual web page and its contents, not just a bookmark, without alluding to any files and folders; concepts normally associated with saving information on a computer. With keepoint, you DO NOT need to specify a filename or a destination folder. This saves a lot of time spent in deciding for a filename and specifying the destination folder and after time passes, finally searching the whole hard disk(s) for the files one is looking for. With keepoint you not only do not need to specify a filename, but you can keep the link or page, in an One-Click operation. In the new Keepoint 7 series (including Keepad) you can even assign KeepAs to web pages at the time of saving, in an one click operation. This feature has been facilitated by KeeTools, a concept unique to and newly introduced in Keepoint 7 series. |

Keepoint even saves pages that cannot be bookmarked such as online receipts, e-greeting cards you receive, itineraries, embedded Flash Images and other dynamically generated pages. |

With keepoint, you can also store the contents of the same link as many times as you wish, without ever specifying the filename, and still be able to retrieve them easily. This is especially useful, if you wish to keep track of the changes in the contents of the same web page. |

Tracking

With keepoint, keeping track of every page visited is very easy. After browsing on the Internet, it often happens that one would like not only to revisit the pages one had seen earlier but also view the associated links in the same order one had previously visited during that session. We refer this to as Tracking and you can achieve this type of tracking using keepoint. This powerful tool substantially cuts down on duplication of searches and increases productivity. |
Offline Browsing

Using keepoint you can save the web pages WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) including embedded images, frames etc., which allows you to view them offline, thus eliminating the need to be connected to the Internet. When you are short of time, you can use keepoint to keep the web information and view it at leisure offline. The stored contents can be viewed offline using Show Sessions or Get All Links, allowing you to carry them on your mobile computer, thus eliminating the print-outs for out-of-office reading. |
Automatic Organization

Automatic Organization is a feature, characteristic of keepoint. Since no filenames, or destination folders are specified at the time of storing a web page, keepoint does not 'file' these contents, instead it 'keeps them for you'. keepoint automatically indexes, sorts, manages thus eliminating the filing process and the tedious time consuming tasks of filenaming, sorting, cleaning the no-longer required files etc., involved along with it. Instead, keepoint has a suite of functions for retrieving the pages stored with it, which can be viewed offline/online and serves as your true Web Information Manager. |
