Security is a top
priority for us and we take every precaution to ensure that your
private information you provide us during a transaction remains
secure. The safety of your credit card is a concern we share with
you. Our site uses secure server software (SSL), the industry
standard and the most advanced security software currently
available for online transactions. It encrypts all of your
personal information including credit card number, name, and
address so that it cannot be read as it is sent to us over the
Internet. Both Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer
show a padlock in the Status Bar at the bottom of your browser to
confirm that your transaction is secure.
Confirming Security Within Frames
The lock indicator is only enabled for sites that don't use
frames. To ensure that your transaction is taking place on a
secure server in Netscape Navigator using frames, right-click
within the transaction window, chose "View Frame Info,"
and read the "Security" description. To ensure a secure
transaction within Microsoft Internet Explorer using frames,
right-click within the transaction window, chose
"Properties," and click the "Certificate"
button.
